The Project
The modelling, assessment, data collection and configuration of a Leak Detection System for the BP Forties pipeline network in the North Sea. This project was particularly complex due to the configuration of the network and the reliance upon a large number of data collection points through the SCADA system that need to be continuously monitored for any variations against the accepted ‘normal’ operating hydraulic model.
